SHOOTING

(Image was generated by ai)

SCENE 1

Scene one was shot in the room it was rehearsed before hand so figuring out the angles wasn't hard. lighting was really tricky though we only wanted natural light in the music video but with the natural light the room looked dull but adjusting the brightness of the camera and movie the curtains a bit helped in shooting the first scene.
To make the child character disappear we first thought we could make the child disappear in editing with effects and we could shoot 2 shots and overlap them later on but that proved to be difficult so we decided to do change angles to make the character disappear in a transition.

On Set

The scene where the girl is standing infront of the window was very tricky to film since the lip sync needed to match with the transition to the next scene perfectly it took us around 11 tries to get it just right first we thought we could attach the whole to the video of filming but then we wouldn't be able to do the planed transition in to the next scene.

SCENE 2

All the drawings were hand made and the whole shooting was down in hand not on the tripod it was probably the easiest and my favorite scenes to shoot in the entire music video.

SCENE 3

This scene was a little tricky to film because of the angles the camera being inside the wardrobe made it hard to film because of the lighting but after stacking some books to lift up the camera the problem was solved .

SCENE 4

For scene 4 we had to get creative we couldn't get the polaroids that we wanted for the shooting in time so we made them by glueing colored printed photos to a chart paper cover it up with transparent tape and cutting it like a Polaroids.
This scene is meant represent the girl growing up and going through life as the years go by.
I also used a black scarf for the back ground.

SCENE 5

In these scenes we had a lot of space to work in so it was relatively easy and effortless to film using a tripod.

In the park

Most of the park scenes were really easy except the closeup of the face was really hard to film due to the lack of sun light.

Landscapes

filming the landscapes was defiantly my favourite part because of how effortless it was.

Playing scene

For this scene I just took multiple shots of the child character playing and overlapped them. we had to keep the tripod extra still.

Last shot

Used a tripod to film the last shot.
